Geely EX2 Launch – The Cutaway, Sydney
OCD InEvents partnered with Bastion to deliver the launch of the new Geely EX2 at Sydney’s newly relaunched Cutaway. Providing production management, site management and show-calling, OCD supported the event from pre-production planning through to live delivery.
“your show-calling on the night was calm, tight and exactly what the room needed”
High Praise from Bastion Agency
“Bump-in & the event ran as smoothly as it did because you were across schedule and the suppliers before anyone had to ask, and your show-calling on the night was calm, tight and exactly what the room needed. Handling brand-new cars indoors with zero margin for error is not a job for everyone, and you made it look easy”
-Dean Worland — Executive Producer, Bastion Agency
The Project
Bastion engaged OCD to support the launch of the Geely EX2 within the distinctive surrounds of The Cutaway.
The project required careful coordination of suppliers, production schedules and vehicle movements, bringing brand-new cars into an indoor event environment where precision and attention to detail were essential.
The Service
OCD provided:
Production Management – Pre-production planning, supplier coordination and management of the production schedule.
Site Management – Coordination of bump-in and onsite activity, including vehicle positioning within the venue.
Show-calling – Management of the live show sequence and cues, keeping the launch running smoothly and on schedule.
The Result
A smoothly delivered vehicle launch, supported by proactive supplier coordination, carefully managed site operations and calm, precise show-calling.
Working closely with Bastion, OCD helped bring the creative vision to life while managing the practical demands of presenting new vehicles indoors.
